PATTI WAGGIN

Patti Waggin (born Patricia Brownell) was a burlesque dancer who appeared in a few movies from the 1950s. She was married to Major League Baseball pitcher Don Rudolph, who was also her manager. Patti incorporated athleticism into her act and was considered one of the friendliest girls on the burlesque circuit. She was alternately billed as The Educated Torso (because she used her stripper earnings to pay her way through four years of college!), The Sex Oomph Girl, and the Fresh Faced Girl Next Door. She apparently answered all of her own fan mail and incorporated them into her book, Fan Letters To A Stripper: A Patti Waggin Tale. She had a hairstyle very similar to that of Bettie Page, and many people believe that Bettie Page adopted her hairstyle after seeing Patti's! She was a champion motorcycle racer in her spare time! Some of her movies include: Lili's Wedding Night, Peek-A-Boo and Too Hot To Handle. She passed away in 1992 at the age of 66.
