BARBARA SHELDON

Barbara Sheldon was an actress from the 1930s. She only appeared in two full-length movies: Flying Down to Rio, and The Lucky Texan. In 1935, she was involved in a scandal where she helped a Hollywood agent, Max Marx (no relation to the Marx Bros), cheat actor Nat Pendleton out of $700 using a crooked roulette wheel while he gambled with Mr. Marx, and the wheel was rigged so that some numbers could never come up! No doubt that played a part in her retirement afterwards, and she passed away in 2007 at the age of 94. If anyone knows more about her, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
