GREEN GOBLIN

Green Goblin (Norman Osborn) is a super villain appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, and first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #14 in 1964. As the amoral industrialist head of Oscorp, Norman was exposed to an experimental formula which enhanced his physical abilities and intellect, but also drove him to insanity. Having endured as Spider-Man's archenemy, Osborn has been part of many of the superhero's defining stories. Willem Dafoe portrayed the character in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man film trilogy and Chris Cooper portrayed the character in the 2014 film The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
