MARGARET WHITING (singer)

Margaret Whiting was an American popular music and country music singer from the 1940s to the 2010s. She was the daughter of Richard Whiting (composer of popular songs such as Hooray for Hollywood, Ain't We Got Fun? and On the Good Ship Lollipop) and began her singing career at a young age. She was also a radio star and regularly appeared on TV variety shows. She passed away in 2011 at the age of 86.
