Stevie Ray Vaughan was an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer from the 1960s to 1990. He is considered one of the most influential guitarists in the revival of blues in the 1980s, and is commonly referred to as one of the greatest guitar players of all time. He played with many bands before forming Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble in 1978. They gained popularity after their debut album, Texas Flood, became a critical and commercial success in 1983. By the mid-1980s, they had become an international act, touring extensively around the world. On August 27th of 1990, Vaughan was killed in a helicopter crash in Wisconsin. He was 35 years old. In 2015, Vaughan and Double Trouble were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
