DOUG JOHNSON

Doug Johnson is a Canadian illustrator, graphic artist, educator, scenic designer and theatrical producer from the 1960s to the present. His studio is called Performing Dog and from the 1960s to the 1980s, he illustrated music album covers (such as for Judas Priest), magazines, posters and advertisements. He also created poster artwork for the film 1900. Since the late 1970s he has primarily focused his creativity on theater related work (posters, graphics, scenic design and executive production management). As of 2021, Johnson is still alive at the age of 80!
