BERT REMSEN

Bert Remsen was a character actor from the 1950s to the 1990s. He had success in the early 1960s, but then a crane collapsed on the set of a TV show he was working on, crushing his spine, and he partially recovered, and became a casting director. But in the 1970s, his friend Robert Altman started giving him roles, and he returned to acting, and appeared in many roles, while still remaining a casting director. Some of his movies include: Code of Silence, Carny, and Dead Ringer. He passed away in 1999 at the age of 74.
