Philippe De Lacy was a French child actor from the 1920s to 1930. He was a French World War I orphan who was adopted by a woman named De Lacy, who took him to the U.S., and he became a child model, and soon entered movies. However, in 1930, when he was an awkward 13 year old, he retired. He is one of the few child actors who went on to a successful and happy life, working for the Cinerama Corporation for many years, and later the J. Walter Thompson Advertising Agency, and he even married his childhood sweetheart! Some of his movies include: Peter Pan, Beau Geste, and The Four Feathers. He passed away in 1995 at the age of 78.
