DAVID CRONENBERG

David Cronenberg is a Canadian filmmaker, writer and actor from 1966 to the present. He is one of the principal originators of the body horror genre, with films that explore visceral bodily transformations and the intertwining of the psychological with the physical. Some of his movies include: Scanners, Videodrome, and Existanz. As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 78!
