OTHO LOVERING

Otho Lovering was a legendary film editor from the 1920s to the 1960s. He started at Paramount on the very lowest rung, but worked his way up to be a film editor, and he edited many wonderful movies, including Stagecoach, The Story of G.I. Joe, and Cheyenne Autumn. In 1935 and 1936, he directed four movies for Paramount. He passed away in 1968 at the age of 75.
