MERRY CLAYTON

Merry Clayton is a black African American soul and gospel singer from the 1960s to the present. She is best known for her backing vocals on the classic Rolling Stones song, "Gimme Shelter". She also appeared in three movies: Nine 1/2 Weeks, Maid to Order, and Wild Orchid II: Two Shades of Blue
