Mary Miles Minter was a silent cinema juvenile star from the 1910s and 1920s. Several of her films and stage plays were remade by Shirley Temple, including "Dimples" and "The Littlest Rebel". Some of her movies include: The Mate of the Sally Ann, Rosemary Climbs the Heights (in the title role as Rosemary), Her Willing Way, and The Trail of the Lonesome Pine. Sadly, Minter's career fell apart after William Desmond Taylor's death, due to rumors of a romantic affair between her and Taylor! She passed away in 1984 at the age of 82.
