IRENE CARA

Irene Cara was a black African American actress and singer from the 1970s to the 2020s. Some of her movies include: Sparkle (in the title role), Fame (as Coco, and she also sang the title song for the movie, which became a major hit), City Heat, and Caged in Paradiso. She passed away in 2022 at the age of 63.
