Some of her movies include: Clash of the Titans, California Suite (winner of the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), The Prime Of Miss Jean Brodie (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Room With A View (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Othello (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Travels With My Aunt (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Gosford Park (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and the Harry Potter movie series (as Professor McGonagall). She also plays Violet Crowley on TV's "Downton Abbey". As of 2021, she is still alive at the age of 86!
