JOHNNY NASH

Johnny Nash was a black African American rocksteady rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) singer and songwriter from the 1950s to the present. Some of his hits include: I Can See Clearly Now, Tears on My Pillow, Rock Me Baby, and Hold Me Tight. Note that "rocksteady" is a type of music that began in Jamaica. It grew out of "ska" and was a precursor of reggae. Nash passed away in 2020 at the age of 80.
