JULIA SANDERSON

Julia Sanderson was an American actress from the early 1900s through the late 1920s. Her movies include: Two Daughters of Eve and The Runaway. She also performed in many productions on Broadway including: Winesome Winnie, The Arcadians, and Rambler Rose. In the late 1920s Sanderson and her third husband, Frank Crumit, teamed up for a singing/comedy radio show called Blackstone Plantation which was broadcast on CBS from 1929 to 1930 and then continued with a popular quiz show called The Battle of the Sexes for an additional 13 years. After Crumit's untimely death in 1943, Sanderson retired and lived out the remainder of her days at her estate in Springfield, Massachusetts. Julia Sanderson passed away in 1975 at the age of 87.
