GRACE METALIOUS
Grace Metalius was a writer from the 1950s. She is best known for her novel Peyton Place, which was adapted to the classic movie starring Lana Turner, and later a TV show starring Dorothy Malone. Her other works include: Return to Peyton Place, The Tight White Collar, and No Adam in Eden. Sadly, she passed away in 1964 at the age of 39 from cirrhosis of the liver.
