THELMA WHITE

Thelma White was an actress from the 1930s to the 1940s. Surely her most memorable role was in 1936's Reefer Madness! Some of her other movies include: Mary Lou, and Wanted by the Police. Note that in World War II (WWII), White performed as the leader of an all female swing band called Thelma White and Her All Girl Orchestra. Sadly, she contracted a debilitating disease while appearing in the Aleutian Islands, and was bedridden for five years, which all but ended her acting career. She passed away in 2005 at the age of 94.
