MEL TILLIS

Mel Tillis is a country western music songwriter and singer from the 1950s to the present. He had a stuttering problem (only when he spoke, not when he sang!), and he greatly helped raise public awareness for people who suffered from this problem. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Some of his hits include: Send Me Down to Tucson, Heaven Everyday, Southern Rain, Love Revival, and Fooled Around and Fell in Love
