RENE MAGRITTE

Rene Magritte was a Belgian surrealist artist from the 1910s to the 1960s. He became well known for a number of witty and thought-provoking images that fall under the umbrella of surrealism. His work is known for challenging observers' preconditioned perceptions of reality. Rene passed away in 1967 at the age of 68.
