MARIA ELENA MARQUES

Maria Elena Marques was a Mexican actress from the 1940s to the 1980s. Some of her movies include: Across the Wide Missouri, Dona Barbara, and Pearl. Note that we know from a still we were consigned that she signed a contract to work for John Ford (likely in the 1940s at the start of her career), but she never worked with the famous director. Marques passed away in 2008 at the age of 81.
