ROY LICHTENSTEIN (personality)

Roy Lichtenstein was an American artist from the 1950s to the 1990s. He was a leading figure in the new art movement of the 1960s and his work defined the basic premise of pop art through parody. His work was heavily influenced by both popular advertising and the comic book style. Roy passed away in 1997 at the age of 73.
