BRENDAN GILL

Brendan Gill was a author, film critic and activist from the 1930s to the 1990s. He wrote for The New Yorker magazine for more than 60 years, authored several books and contributed film criticism for Film Comment. He was also active in the preservation of New York landmarks and other visual arts.
