ALBERT EINSTEIN

Albert Einstein was a German theoretical physicist who developed the general theory of relativity. He may be best known for his mass-energy equivalence formula "e = mc2" and he received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics. He was visiting the United States when Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933 and choose not to go back to Germany. Einstein published more than 300 scientific papers and his great intellectual achievements and originality have made the word "Einstein" synonymous with genius. He passed away in 1955 at the age of 76.
