EARL ROSSMAN

Earl Rossman was an author, director and explorer from the 1920s to the 1930s. He was a member of the Detroit Arctic Team which raced Admiral Byrd to the North Pole (he seems to have been the official photographer and press correspondent for the expedition). It's also been said that he is the first person to fly over Mount McKinley in Alaska. His film works include: Kivalina of the Ice Lands (which may have contained the first color footage of the Aurora Borealis) and Dangers of the Arctic
