ERNEST PINTOFF

Ernest Pintoff was a musician, director and author from the 1950s to the 2000s. He won the Oscar for Best Animated Short for The Critic in 1964 and received the International Animated Film Society's Winsor McCay Award for prolific lifetime contributions to animation. Some of his other works include: The Shoes, Dynamite Chicken, and Blade. He passed away in 2002 at the age of 70.
