JAN CLAYTON

Jan Clayton was an actress/singer from the 1930s to the 1980s. She is best remembered as the first mother, Ellen Miller, in the "Lassie" TV series. Some of her movies include: Sunset Trail, This Man's Navy, and The Snake Pit (where she memorably sang "Goin' Home"). She passed away in 1983 at the age of 66.
