TOMMY NOONAN

Tommy Noonan was an actor from the 1930s to the 1960s. Early in his career, he became partners with Peter Marshall (later the longtime host of The Hollywood Squares), and they had a stand-up comedy act and appeared in movies. They also had solo careers, and for a while in the 1950s, Tommy Noonan was very successful playing "nerdy" successful men in movies like "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes". In the 1960s, he appeared in several sexploitation movies with stars like Jayne Mansfield, but they were not very successful at all. Some of his movies include: I Shot Jesse James, A Star Is Born, Bundle of Joy, and The Rookie. Sadly, he developed a brain tumor in 1968 and passed away at the age of 46.
