WAYLON JENNINGS

Waylon Jennings was famous country-western musician from the 1950s to the 2000s. Some of his songs include: Mammas Don't Get Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys, Good Hearted Woman, and Luckenbach Texas. He often worked with Willie Nelson, and he had a troubled personal life, marred by addiction. Jennings also worked with Buddy Holly before his fatal plane crash in 1959. He purportedly gave up his seat to the Big Bopper, who had the flu, and joked about the plane crashing with Holly. Jennings passed away in 2002 at the age of 64 from complications of diabetes.
