NEHEMIAH PERSOFF

Nehemiah Persoff was a Jerusalem-born Jewish actor (he came to the U.S. with his family when he was 10 year old) from the 1940s to the 2000s. He never achieved major stardom, but he was in many fine movies in character roles, and he is one of the more successful character actors! Some of his movies include: On the Waterfront, The Harder They Fall, Fate is the Hunter, Yentl, The Last Temptation of Christ, Al Capone, and Some Like It Hot. He passed away in 2022 at the age of 102
