Richard Loo was a Hawaiian actor from the 1930s to the 1970s. He got his start playing Asian villains in the late 1930s, and he was heavily in demand throughout World War II (when so many anti-Japanese movies were made), and he continued in many movies throughout the 1950s, and in the 1960s, he switched mostly to television, where he appeared in just about every series (he must have been the first on the list whenever an Asian American was cast!). He is perhaps best remembered for his role as Hai Fat in "The Man With The Golden Gun" (he is killed by Christopher Lee with the golden gun, and Lee says "Mr. Fat has just resigned ...I am the new Chairman of the Board..."). Loo passed away in 1983 at the age of 80.
