Thomas Alva Edison was a prolific inventor and businessman from the 1870s to the 1930s. One of the most influential inventors in history, his inventions include: the motion picture movie camera, the phonograph record music player, the electric light bulb, and many more. He passed away in 1931 at the age of 84 due to complications from diabetes.
