Nancy Kulp arrived in Hollywood in 1952, and three weeks later, she was offered a small part in "The Model and the Marriage Broker". She appeared in a number of movies in the 1950s in minor roles, including "Shane", but she got her first big break playing a recurring role in the mid 1950s in TV's "The Bob Cummings Show", and then she got her really big break in 1962 when she was cast as "Miz Jane" in TV's "The Beverly Hillbillies". In 1984, she ran for Congress, but lost, and became a teacher, passing away in 1991 at the age of 69.
