Henry Morgan was a comedian and actor from the 1930s to the 1990s. He got his start in radio in the 1930s, and quickly became known for his great sarcasm, which included the show's sponsors, and which got him in many feuds (he would continue to have this "problem" throughout his long career). He had many different radio and TV shows, no doubt strongly connected to his being so difficult to get along with! He is best known for his work on Goodson Toddman game shows including "What's My Line" and "To Tell the Truth", and he also made a few movies. He is one of the few celebrities who contributed to Mad magazine, having three articles there under his byline! He was often confused with the actor Henry Morgan (star of TV shows like "December Bride" and "M*A*S*H"), who, after this Henry Morgan became famous on TV, began being billed as "Henry 'Harry' Morgan" and later just "Harry Morgan", to avoid the confusion. Morgan passed away in 1994 at the age of 79.
