WHOOPI GOLDBERG

Whoopi Goldberg is a black African American actress, comedienne, author, television (TV) actress and host from the 1980s to the present. Some of her movies include: The Color Purple (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Ghost (winner of the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), and The Lion King, and she made several appearances in both the television series and movie franchise of Star Trek: The Next Generation. She is currently one of the co-hosts of TV's "The View".
