Marvin Hatley (also known as T. Marvin Hatley) was a music composer and actor from the 1930s to the 1980s. Some of his movies include: Love Pains, The Tabasco Kid, and Sherman Said It. He is best remembered for writing numerous musical compositions while working for the Hal Roach Studios from 1929 to 1940, and he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Music for Block-Heads, There Goes My Heart, and Way Out West. He also wrote The Coo Coo Song which eventually came to be known as the Laurel and Hardy theme song
