The Kingston Trio, who were a folk and pop rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) band from the 1950s to the present. The founding members were Bob Shane, Dave Guard, and Nick Reynolds. In 1961, Guard left the band, and over the next 50 years, there have been many other changes in the members (in 1967, their name was changed to "The New Kingston Trio", reflecting that the band was composed of new members). Their biggest hit was "Tom Dooley", and they had great success with many other songs, including "Where Have All the Flowers Gone" and "Greenback Dollar".
