Zeppo Marx (born Herbert Marx) was a comedian and actor from the 1920s to 1930s. He was one of the five Marx Brothers. His oldest brother Gummo left the act when they were still in vaudeville (he enlisted in the army, which tells you how much he wanted to leave the act!), and Zeppo somewhat took his place. He only appeared in their first four movies: Duck Soup, Horse Feathers, Monkey Business, and Animal Crackers. He left the act in 1933, and became a very successful agent to top Hollywood stars! He passed away in 1979 at the age of 78.
