CHARLEY PRIDE

Charley Pride was a black African American country music singer from the 1960s to the 2020s. He was the first black singer to achieve major success in country western music. Some of his songs include: The Snakes Crawl at Night, Before I Met You, and Kiss an Angel Good Mornin'. Charley passed away in 2020 at the age of 86 from complications of COVID-19.
