SAM SHEPARD

Sam Shepard was an actor and playwright from the 1970s to the 2010s. Some of his movies include: Blackthorn, The Notebook, Right Stuff (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), and Frances. Some of his plays have also been adapted into movies. He lived with Jessica Lange from 1982 to 2009, and they have two children together. Shepard passed away in 2017 at the age of 73 from ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's disease).
