ROD LAUREN

Rod Lauren (born Roger Strunk) was an actor and singer from the 1950s to the 1960s. He had a brief career as a pop singer, before becoming a movie actor. Some of his movies include: Black Zoo, Childish Things, and Once Before I Die. He had a fascinating, if extremely depressing later life, which included marrying a Filipino movie star named Nida Blanca, and he was about to be arrested for her murder when he fled to the U.S., and after fighting extradition for several years, he committed suicide in 2007 at the age of 67 (this sounds like an ideal movie role for Johnny Depp!).
