EVA LE GALLIENNE

Eva Le Gallienne was a legendary English stage actress from the 1920s to the 1980s. She appeared in only a handful of motions pictures but garnered an Oscar nomination for her role in "Resurrection". Some of her other movies include: Prince of Players, and The Devil's Disciple. One of her many great stage roles was starring in Edmond Rostand's "L'Aiglon", about the life of Napoleon II (it became a tradition for women to play that role, a young man!). She passed away in 1991 at the age of 92.
