DAVID LETTERMAN

David Letterman is a comedian and talk show host from the 1970s to the present. His dream was to eventually host The Tonight Show (because his idol was Johnny Carson), and he was prepared to do anything to get it, but alas, it will never happen! He did however host "The Late Show" for 23 years, retiring from the job in 2015. As of 2021, Letterman is still alive at the age of 72!
