PATRICK MCGOOHAN

Patrick McGoohan was an Irish movie and TV actor from the 1950s to the 2000s. Some of his movies and TV shows include: Escape from Alcatraz, Dr. Syn Alias the Scarecrow, TV's "Danger Man" (as John Drake), and TV's "The Prisoner" (as Number Six). Note that Mr. McGoohan was actually born in New York City, but his parents moved to Ireland when he was very young, and he grew up there, which accounts for his Irish accent. He passed away in 2009 at the age of 80.
