Note: Scroll down for the condition, description, and item defects. Film Description Billy Jack, the classic 1971 Tom Laughlin (billed as "T.C. Frank") revenge kung fu martial arts peace-making action thriller ("You've got: Due process, Mother's Day, supermarkets, the FBI, Medicare, air conditioning, AT&T, country clubs, Congress, a 2-car garage, state troopers, the Constitution, color television and democracy. They've got BILLY JACK"; "When you need him, he's always there!"; "Show me one place where people really love one another and I'll never harm another human being as long as I live."; It does seem odd that someone who preaches pacifism like Billy Jack spends most of the movie beating people up!) starring Tom Laughlin, Delores Taylor, Clark Howat, Victor Izay, Julie Webb, and Debbie Schock
More About This Item Note that the "signature" in the top left is printed on the poster, and that the poster is NOT actually signed! Also note that this is a commercial poster which was printed after "Billy Jack" came out and was sold directly to the public. It IS vintage from that time, but it is not a theater-used poster, and was sold commercially. Also note that this poster was never machine folded! An unfolded poster is almost always far more difficult to find than a folded poster of the same title, and finding unfolded posters in excellent condition is even more difficult! Note that next to the lot number in the title of this auction we put "UF". The "UF" is a note for our shipping department to let them know the poster is stored "UnFolded". This allows us to more quickly find the item in our warehouse, therefore helping us to ship all orders as quickly as possible. Other items will have either a "UF" (UnFolded), "TF" (Tri-Folded), or "FF" (Fully Folded) next to the lot number, but please know that no matter which you buy (or if you buy any combination thereof), you only pay a single U.S. shipping charge (non-U.S. orders are charged the actual cost of shipping), as we can unfold tri-folded or fully folded posters and roll them in with unfolded posters, thus sending a single package.
Overall Condition: very good to fine Notable Defects: There are some minor creases around the edges of the poster, and a few very minor ones scattered through the image.
Explanation Of What This Condition Grade Means: This item has only a few VERY minor imperfections. We may have written just a few words about those imperfections, but we may not have, as they are very minor. Note that we are very harsh condition graders, and that our "very good to fine" compares favorably to many dealers' "fine" condition! You should look at our "super-sized" image of the actual item, which will confirm just how nice this item is!
More About This Poster Type: Commercial posters are posters that are made to be sold to the public. Some are mass-produced while others are limited edition. We always try to avoid selling commercial posters if they are still "in print". We always welcome collectors to let us know if they have any additional details about any commercial poster we are selling. please know that there is a difference between a "commercial poster" and a "reproduction". Commercial posters are usually licensed (though, not always) and, in general, contain completely different and often quite striking artwork as compared to the theatrical poster which is why collectors find them collectible. On the other hand, reproductions are almost always unlicensed, and contain images very close or identical to original theatrical posters, usually in an effort to fool collectors. WE NEVER SELL REPRODUCTIONS!
