Order Now For: $16.00
A 1981 Re-Release Vintage Theater-Used Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41")
Note: Scroll down for the condition, description, and item defects. Film Description Alice, Sweet Alice, the 1977 Alfred Sole horror thriller (about a neighborhood that is terrorized by a series of murders that seem to be centered around the members of a Catholic church; "If you survive this night... Nothing will scare you again."; "Horror that goes one step further!") starring Linda Miller, Brooke Shields, Mildred Clinton, Paula E. Sheppard, Niles McMaster, Jane Lowry, Rudolph Willrich, Michael Hardstark and Lillian Roth (sexy actress whose turbulent off camera life gained her far more notoriety than her movie work; she was an alcoholic and was married six times, and was never single for long; her life was the basis for the movie "I'll Cry Tomorrow" starring Susan Hayward, which brought alcoholism into the consciousness of mainstream America)
More About This Item Note that next to the lot number in the title of this auction we put "FF". The "FF" is a note for our shipping department to let them know the poster is stored "Fully Folded". This allows us to more quickly find the item in our warehouse, therefore helping us to ship all orders as quickly as possible. Other items will have either a "UF" (UnFolded), "TF" (Tri-Folded), or "FF" (Fully Folded) next to the lot number, but please know that no matter which you buy (or if you buy any combination thereof), you only pay a single U.S. shipping charge (non-U.S. orders are charged the actual cost of shipping), as we can unfold tri-folded or fully folded posters and roll them in with unfolded posters, thus sending a single package.
Overall Condition: fine Notable Defects: few extremely light creases around the edges; "introducing" snipe just above "BROOKE SHIELDS" at top of the image background. Otherwise, the poster is in pretty nice condition!
Explanation Of What This Condition Grade Means: This item is in really excellent condition! It has the most minor of imperfections, but has survived in really wonderful condition! Note that we do not use terms like "mint" or "near mint". "Fine" is our highest grade, and it compares favorably to most dealers' "near mint" or "mint". You should look at our "super-sized" image of the actual item, which will confirm just how nice this item is!
More About This Poster Type: One-Sheets are the standard movie poster size, what you see outside of any movie theater. From 1896 until roughly 1990, almost all actual theater-used one-sheets measured 27" x 41" (since then, most one-sheets measure 27" x 40"). Up until 1980 (or thereabouts) the vast majority of one-sheets were folded twice horizontally and once vertically (this is in no way considered a defect). Sometime during the late '70s, studios began printing one-sheets rolled. Most one-sheets after the mid-1980s are printed unfolded, though it is still possible to find some newer posters folded. Most newer one-sheets are printed double-sided (with a mirror image on the back) for use in a light box in front of the theaters. However, sometimes the studios print some posters single-sided. All of the one-sheets (unless otherwise noted) being sold by eMoviePoster are original vintage theater-used one-sheets!
