An Original Vintage Australian Exhibitor Magazine (measures 9 3/4" x 12" [25 x 30 cm]; 36 pages) (Learn More) Paramount Service, the Australian exhibitor magazine published by Paramount Pictures in the 1920s and 1930s (at least, because we have seen issues between 1922 and 1931), which was sent to Australian theaters that showed Paramount movies. Each issue contained information and illustrated stories on then-current Paramount releases. The issues we have seen from the 1920s have poster images (of the U.S. posters), movie synopses, and much more. The issues we have seen from the 1930s have fewer pages, but they sometimes include Australian poster images. Much of the information and images contained in these exhibitor magazines may not have been re-published since its first appearance in these magazines. Note that we know for certain there was an English version of this exhibitor magazine, and there likely was also a U.S. version. Important Added Info: Note that this is a wonderful issue of this exhibitor magazine, because Paramount put a 24-page bound in supplement in the center that contained color ads for their upcoming movies (a condensed version of the 1930-31 Paramount campaign book called "Paramount's Greater New Show World"). There are great advertisements throughout the 24 pages, but the highlights include a great full page for Animal Crackers (with the Marx Brothers), a half page for Morocco (with Marlene Dietrich), plus much more (see our images)! These ads are similar to the ads in the U.S. 1930-31 campaign book, but some are slightly different and some are completely different. We have never auctioned this wonderful magazine before! Condition: very good. There is slight rust at the staples at the spine, but otherwise, the magazine is in really nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
