He was blind in one eye and that became his trademark, causing him to mostly play comic roles. Some of his movies include: High Noon, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, and Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. He passed away in 2003 at the age of 82. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Jack Elam! Our consignor is a highly respected author of many movie books, and he acquired this signed item while doing research for a book, and while he has no certificate of authenticity, we are 100% certain it is authentic. It comes with the envelope that Mr. Elam sent it in, which has his mailing label on it.
