Pulp Magazine Cover Painting, the circa 1950s painting featuring Robert Crofut cowboy western art of two men in a gunfight. Note that we believe that this was used as the cover art for a Western-themed pulp magazine, but cannot be certain. If anyone knows more about this art, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that this is an original painting that almost surely was used for the cover of a 1950s western pulp magazine, but neither our consignor nor we have any information about what magazine it might have appeared on. It was painted by Robert Crofut, a very prolific artist of such paintings, but we were unable to find a biography of him. If anyone knows more about the artist or the painting, please e-mail us and we will post it here. The painting was painted directly on a heavy illustration board.
