Calaboose, the 1943 Hal Roach Jr. cowboy western comedy ("The loudest LAUGHS that ever rolled out of the West!"; "It's a ropin' riot when cowboys meet girl and find her arresting. And why not? For she's the sheriff's daughter! This way to the calaboose... It's something to howl about!"; executive produced by Hal Roach; produced by Glenn Tryon, who had been a silent comedian for Roach, and was likely picking up some much needed work!) starring Jimmy Rogers, Noah Beery Jr. (the insert poster misspells 'Beery' as 'Berry'), Mary Brian, William Henry (billed as "Bill Henry"), Paul Hurst, Marc Lawrence, Jean Porter, Iris Adrian, and William Davidson. Note that this type of film was known as a "streamliner", which was between a short and a feature in length (usually running from 42 to 47 minutes).
